This got coverage in the Metro newspaper as well which I was really surprised about (although in hindsight, it really isn't that shocking considering how old Captain America is, and his legacy). Aren't Paramount supposed to be overseeing a Captain America movie as well?

They have been overseeing a Captain America movie for years now. If they greenlit one now it wouldn't be till 3 years till it came out and that's enough time for him to be back in the comics.

nah, it's supposed to be a Superman reference. I thought he was brought back to life after spending time in a regeneration matrix? I am probably wrong though or I misread something.

Ohhh OK then. Yes. He emerged from whatever a Regeneration Matrix is, yes.

Superman's death is silly, they revealed that he never actually died it was just like a Kryptonian Coma. The "Regeneration Matrix" did fuck all basically I completely forgot about it.
